Origins Deluxe Laser Power He-Man, item JHK21, was in stock at Mattel Creations at $33.00 on 28 September and still is, and BigBadToyStore has him at $27.99 against a $32.99 list, on pre-order rather than in hand.5 Mattel’s own copy gives the figure 5.5 inches and sixteen points of articulation, an integrated backpack, harness and arm guard, a light-up Power Sword, and a mini comic. He is painted into the Origins Eternia packaging art at the top of this page, mid-duel with the armoured He-Man across a cracked stone floor, and Toy Habits reads that pair as Laser Power He-Man and Laser Light Skeletor. The light is in the hand, not the staff

The teaser confirmed the staff was moulded in translucent red rather than clear plastic with paint on it, and it showed bronze tooling on the armour with a small ram skull sitting among the scrollwork. But no frame showed a light on. On the vintage figure the lamp is what the toy was sold on, and on the survivors it is the first part to go. The teaser never showed where the new one sits. The product shots show how it is built: lit, the sockets burn and the light carries up the wrist; unlit, with the Havoc Staff set down beside him, the right hand is a separate piece of translucent red plastic, against a left hand moulded in the same pale blue as the rest of him. The staff is translucent as well, and it does not light up.

Mattel gives him 5.5 inches and sixteen points of articulation, a removable soft goods cape and that translucent Havoc Staff, and a packed-in mini comic titled The Moons of Peril. The vintage styling carries onto the window box: a yellow starburst reads SUPER “LASER” LIGHT ACTION!, the nameplate under the tray calls him the Evil Master of Light Energy, and a corner flash reads NEW FOR ‘26.6
