July 23 to 26, 2026, with Preview Night on July 22, San Diego Convention Center

Mattel, Mondo and Dark Horse all had Masters of the Universe at SDCC 2026. Mattel brought a Skeletor exclusive, a film panel and a Skeletor cosplay contest, Mondo brought its premium 1/6 and 1/12 lines, and Dark Horse billed a Masters of the Universe signing.

The Gym Bro Skeletor action figure curling two dumbbells in a purple sleeveless hoodie, shorts, tube socks and sneakers — The MOTU Chronicles Gym Bro Skeletor, Mattel's SDCC 2026 exclusive. Official Mattel product photography via Mattel Creations.

Mattel's exclusive was the MOTU Chronicles Gym Bro Skeletor, a 6 inch figure with 32 points of articulation, two dumbbells with metal accents, a barbell, a gym towel and interchangeable hands, priced at $50. Online preorders opened July 23 at 9 a.m. PT on Mattel Creations, limited to two per customer. At the booth, the unofficial blog says buyers first had to win a Comic-Con Exclusives Portal lottery slot for a purchase time. Our July 21 story, taken from Toy People, says instead that the figure was available at the booth from July 22. We have not reconciled the two.
Mattel's booth was listed as 2945 by the San Diego Comic-Con Unofficial Blog. It hosted a Skeletor Cosplay Pose-Off on Saturday, July 25 at 10:45 a.m., open to every era of Skeletor, and a Masters of the Universe film storytelling panel on Friday, July 24 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. PT in Room 6A, with screenwriter Chris Butler, authors Tim Sheridan and Mackenzi Lee, editor Andy Rogers and moderator Nate Atwood.
Toy Habits reported five new MOTU Chronicles figures at the Mattel installation (Clawful, Mer-Man, Mekaneck, Goat Man and a Panthor) and a new Origins line with a Shadow Beast build-a-figure. Our story, taken from Toy Habits, places the installation in Hall H, while the unofficial blog names booth 2945 and no hall. We have not reconciled the two.
Mondo revealed a 1/6 scale flocked Panthor (500 pieces, $525) and a 1/12 scale 200X Keldor ($115, the first 1,500 units were slated to ship from October 2026, and we have not checked whether they have), with preorders on July 22 at 11 a.m. Eastern through MondoShop and at its Hall G booth, 5137. Its panel added 1/6 scale Stratos and Sorceress, a Deluxe Skeletor 2.0 with swappable armor and a 1/12 scale Trap Jaw.
Dark Horse listed a Masters of the Universe signing on Friday, July 24 from 3 to 3:50 p.m. at booth 2615, wristband required, with Tiffany Smith, Tim Seeley, Tim Sheridan, Reilly Brown, Rich Douek and Gavin Smith. Comics Beat lists a Dark Horse Licensed Comics panel on Thursday, July 23 from 12 to 1 p.m. in Room 25ABC that invites fans to celebrate Masters of the Universe alongside other licences. We have not published a report on what either session showed.
The sdccblog Super7 exclusives page, which shows an update dated July 17, lists Lion-O and Mumm-Ra Ultimates figures at booth 2343 and does not mention Masters of the Universe. It is the only Super7 list we have read, and we have not checked Super7's own channels.
Away from the floor, our July 20 story reports that Amazon MGM Studios would stream the 2026 Masters of the Universe film on Prime Video from July 22, the day of Preview Night.

Quick answers

He-Man at SDCC: your questions

When is SDCC 2027?

Comic-Con International has set San Diego Comic-Con 2027 for Thursday, July 22 to Sunday, July 25, 2027, with Preview Night on Wednesday, July 21. We read those dates on comic-con.org on October 21, 2026, and the San Diego Comic-Con Unofficial Blog reported them in July.

Where is SDCC 2027 held?

The comic-con.org home page lists the San Diego Convention Center. The unofficial blog item that announced the dates does not name a venue, so the official site is our source.

When can I get a badge for SDCC 2027?

The unofficial blog reported that returning attendees get first access on Saturday, October 17, 2026, and that open registration follows on Saturday, November 14, 2026. Badge sales are run by Comic-Con International, so check comic-con.org for the rules.

Is He-Man going to be at SDCC 2027?

We have not found an announcement as of October 21, 2026. Mattel, Mondo, Dark Horse and Super7 are the makers who have brought Masters of the Universe to the floor, and we will list who is confirmed here as soon as the exhibitor, guest and panel lists are public.

What did He-Man have at SDCC 2026?

Mattel brought the Gym Bro Skeletor exclusive, a Skeletor Cosplay Pose-Off and a film storytelling panel. Mondo showed a flocked Panthor, a 200X Keldor, Stratos, Sorceress and a Deluxe Skeletor 2.0. Dark Horse billed a Masters of the Universe signing. The full record is on this page.

How was the Gym Bro Skeletor sold?

Online preorders opened July 23, 2026 at 9 a.m. PT on Mattel Creations at $50, limited to two per customer. At the Mattel booth it went through the Comic-Con Exclusives Portal lottery, which assigns a purchase time.

Did Super7 bring Masters of the Universe to SDCC 2026?

We found no Masters of the Universe item on the Super7 exclusives list that the San Diego Comic-Con Unofficial Blog updated on July 15. We read that list on October 21, 2026 and have not checked Super7's own channels.

Where do I find Masters of the Universe exclusives at a convention?

Start with the exhibitor list and floor map that Comic-Con International links from its site, and with each maker's own announcements. Makers post their exclusives before the show, and this page lists the Masters of the Universe ones once they are public. We could not read booth numbers from the official list with our tools, so the booth numbers here come from the unofficial blog, Toy Habits and the makers' own reports.

How will I know when this page reopens?

Use the alert signup on this page. We will send one email when the SDCC 2027 guest and exhibitor lists make the Masters of the Universe picture clear. This page also keeps the record of the shows we have covered.
