Masters of the Universe spent its first week on sale at the top of the Blu-ray chart, at the top of packaged media overall, and at the top of the week’s 4K Ultra HD releases, for the week ending 24 October [1].
Good news, then, but Blu-ray.com publishes shares rather than copies. There is no absolute sales figure anywhere on the page, not for this title and not for any other in the table. The figure printed beside Masters of the Universe is 67; the table’s own header calls that the ”% of Blu-ray’s Market Share Noted”, while the article’s prose calls the same number an HD share, and the page never reconciles the two labels [2].
So the chart cannot tell you how many people bought the film. It can tell you which disc they chose. The 4K share the article gives is 32 percent of units sold. The 4K is the dearer edition. It is also the one both of the reviews we read on street date preferred.
Both editions carry the same pair of extras, and our disc guide has the full specification on each.
Both are in stock at Amazon this morning, the Blu-ray and the 4K Ultra HD, each carrying an Amazon’s Choice badge and a listing line reading “2K+ bought in past month” [3]. BigBadToyStore has carried no edition of the film since the discs went on sale.
Next week’s chart replaces this one on Friday. A third of this film’s disc buyers chose the 4K.

[1] The chart headers read “Week Ending 10/24/26”. The 4K entry is listed as “Masters of the Universe 4K”. The Top Five Blu-ray sellers that week ran Masters of the Universe, Hadestown: The Musical, Heated Rivalry: Season 1, Project Hail Mary and Ice Cream Man, in that order.
[2] Read first hand on 3 November. The page gives two relative figures and no absolute one: Hadestown sold 43 percent as many Blu-ray units as Masters of the Universe, and Heated Rivalry 22 percent as many. Every other quantity on the page is a percentage of the same kind as the 67.
[3] Both Amazon listings read first hand on 3 November, ASIN B0H37TKF4D for the 4K Ultra HD and B0H386STXS for the Blu-ray, each reading In Stock and shipped and sold by Amazon.com. No price is quoted here because the listings were read from a Canadian connection and served Canadian dollars, so the United States figures in our earlier coverage are the last ones we confirmed.
